Bring a list of six specific things you have done in your life that you are proud of; they can be small things you felt great about from memorable moments in your lifetime.
Ancient Yoga with Deanna Olivier will meet from 11 a.m.-noon this Wednesday and April 18. The practice includes physical, mental and spiritual discipline for developing awareness, character and consciousness. It is an integrated system of exercise, breath control and meditation, combining yoga postures with breathing techniques for a vigorous workout. Bring water, a yoga mat if you have one and a towel. Cancer Support Group for Women will gather from 12:30- 2 p.m. this Wednesday. If a survivor, currently in treatment, recently diagnosed, or coping with the effects of cancer on a loved one, join the group to discover the power of healing by connecting with others who share a common bond. Starting this month, the group will meet on the first Wednesday of each month.
Zumba Gold in a chair will meet from 10:30-11 a.m. this Thursday and April 19 led by Renée Morinaka, a licensed Zumba instructor. This class is mainly for those who have mobility or balance issues, but still love to move and dance. It includes a warm up, dance party and cool down stretching to upbeat music of various genres. Activate effective everyday hand, arm, leg and body movements. The class will be sitting throughout. Bring water, a towel and wear covered shoes.

How To Train Your Dragon Brain will meet from 5:30-7 p.m. April 10, led by JoAnna Wyss, LCSW, a psychotherapist. Learn and practice a simple, relaxing, two-minute activity designed to train the brain’s response to stress and challenges. Decrease anxiety without drugs or alcohol and shift brain chemistry at will. Approach problems or challenges with whole brain capacities, not fight or flight. Hear some amazing stories about early neuroscience pioneer Dr. Marian Diamond. For new and returning attendees, this program will be a review and expansion of previous workshops.
